You may be familiar with 3W as one of the few Australian owned IT consulting companies that operates a blended Onshore/Near-shore IT development and support service for Australian clients.  Our Australian based Team has significant technical and industry experience dealing with Australian clients.  This ensures we fully understand our Australian clients’ business requirements. This Team is supported by our technical ‘Near-shore’ Team based in Manila, Philippines.

If you think about it, this approach is very different to most offshore service providers.  Their main operations are usually offshore, in locations such as India.    And their Australian operations are staffed and managed by resources flown in from Head Office.  This often results in a misunderstanding of their Australian client requirements either through a lack of local knowledge, a mis-match in business cultures, to name a few.  Plus, 3W is totally focused on our Australian clients.  There is no internal competition or preference for resources to service clients in other countries.

3W’s local knowledge + global support approach has seen the business expand exponentially.  We now support clients across a broad range of projects and technologies in all major Australian cities (and some not so major)!.  This has allowed us to invest in and build expertise in many areas of systems development and support including; business intelligence, mobile applications, .Net/Sharepoint as well as core enterprise-wide applications.

To supplement our IT outsourcing capabilities, 3W has launched a Business Process Outsourcing service.  Again this is Australia client centric,   with support being provided by our BPO Centre in Manila.  Many of our IT clients are now taking advantage of our BPO services across different parts of their organizations,  including sales support,  web design, content management, finance, HR and admin support, to name a few.
