A Sub-class 457 visa (also known as Temporary Business Long-Stay Standard Business Sponsorship) are the most commonly used tool used by employers to bring working overseas professionals to Australia on a temporary basis.

Provided they have sponsorship, overseas professionals can work in Australia for a minimum of 3 months and up to 4 years. They are also eligible to bring dependants (spouse & children) with them.
